My posts are no longer in sync with what I am doing now so I'll quickly explain where I currently am. After spending 2 nights on Iona and getting to know the people better and planning my trip with them all, I also called the older RV couple to plan to meet them when I got back to Mull. I traveled back to Mull and they picked me up and took me around the island for the past 5 days with them, and am currently back in Oban where I stayed at the same hostel.
I am debating on heading north still to Glencoe to see more mainland scenes but according to Uist and others, Mull more or less looks the same. The grass on Mull is normally as green in Glencoe but they are still coming out of winter so everything is yellow. I was told Glencoe may be the same so I don't know if I want to try camping on my own again. I was ambitious yesterday when I decided not to catch the bus back to Glasgow, thinking I can probably camp out since I did on Mull, but the major difference there is the older couple, Roy and Sandra, lent me an extra sleeping bag and blanket to stay warmer, which one night was still a bit cold but I was comfortable enough to sleep.
I am thinking now, camping may be a mistake. It was initially a way to see more of Scotland because I had no plans and wanted to conserve some money. Now I've met a few people who I can meet and see more of the cities and towns of Scotland. I am considering maybe just hiking around today and still catching a bus back to Glasgow. I'll figure something out. I need to get ready to check out. I will fill in the details later.
Thanks for following. One of the main reasons I want to see Glencoe is because I Want to experience and share it with all of you, but the circumstances in climate is making me weaver as well as being a bit exhausted from sleeping outside. It's calming and peaceful but also has its tolls as well. Something I have not yet grown accustom to.
